(Psalms 134:2)

Why does the church pray for specific needs?
"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior."
(I Timothy 2:1-3)
Why do we anoint with oil and pray for the sick?
"Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."
(James 5:14-15)
Why do we have audible praise unto God?

(Psalms 34:1)
"And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord."
(Acts 4:24)
Why are the musical instruments part of the worship service?
"Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: Praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: Praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: Praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals."
(Psalms 150:3-5/Revelation 14:2)
Why do we have this type of worship?
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."
(John 4:23-24)
